Pam Paris from Marquette, MI Takes Home The Steamin’ Summer Sauna from Premium Pole Buildings & Storage Sheds and ILO Heaters

Marquette, MI – September 29, 2016 – We at Great Lakes Radio Crew had a blast this evening at river Rock Lanes & Banquet Center for our Steamin’ Summer Sauna Giveaway! We enjoyed having all of our fans come out and ended up giving away a great grand prize! We teamed up with Premium Pole Buildings & Storage Sheds to give away an 8′ x 8′ Outdoor Cedar Sauna worth $8,000! Congratulations to our lucky winner, Pam Paris from Marquette!

The turnout was fantastic as everyone was excited to get some great food and hopefully win a new sauna.  Amy and Cali handled the registration table with a smile to greet people as they came in.  Thanks to these ladies everyone got in and registered in no time! All guests received a meal ticket for catering from Mama Russo’s and the invite holders got a door prize as well as a finalist ticket.

When everyone got all settled in, Mike Plourde and Adam Carpenter took the mic as the Emcee for the night.  The guys started by welcoming everyone and introducing our great sponsors.  After introducing our sponsors, it was time for the door prizes!  Prizes were getting handed out all over the room as the numbers were being drawn and announced with a swiftness.  Door prizes are great at getting the whole room buzzing with excitement, because everyone loves getting free things! Our sponsors were great as usual, and we had a ton of great prizes to give away.  Door prizes included a very expensive Car Care Club Membership from Southside Automotive, 906 Sports Bar Hoodies and Ward’s Outdoor Equipment & Repair t-shirts.

The food was so good we almost ran out! Everyone wanted seconds!

After the prizes got handed out, it was time for one of the highlights of the night, the food! In DeeDee’s absence, Eric Scott had the honor of releasing the tables for dinner.  Mama Russo’s was serving up lasagna and cudighi bites to go along with their famous homemade salads.  Smiles and laughter lit up the room as people chowed down. After dinner, people got to try their luck at corn hole!  Each guest who received an invite got a chance to toss a bean bag for their chance at winning a free game of bowling from River Rock Lanes or another door prize from one of our amazing sponsors.  People had a blast playing corn hole and we saw some impressive arms – many people sunk it twice!

After the game finished, it was time to introduce our next big giveaway, Two Tickets to Paradise.  Eric Scott took the mic to bring up Laura Champan from Holiday Travel Vacations to chat about the giveaway. Two Tickets to Paradise includes all all inclusive stay for four nights at the RIU Maya Rivera Palace Resort in Mexico for two! Thanks to Laura for another great winter giveaway.

Finally, we were ready for the main event, the drawing of our finalists.  The guys from Premium Pole Buildings & Storage Sheds came up the font to draw six tickets out of the bucket for Adam to call out.  Each finalist came up to pick their envelope hoping they were holding the grand prize in their hands.  Each envelope had a major prize, but only one contained the grand prize! Each finalist opened their envelope at the same time as the room was filled with anticipation.

Jumping with joy, Pam Paris opened the envelop to find out she was the winner of the Steamin’ Summer Sauna! She couldn’t contain her excitement! The other finalists received their prizes with a Ryan Hubbard winning a catering package for 30 people from Jets Pizza. A Women’s Gift Basket went to Lisa Bressette with the Men’s Gift Basket going to Dan Boyle.  Kristen Grondz won a large vehicle wash, wax, and interior shampoo from LaFayette Collision Center in Marquette.  Our sixth finalist, Cindy Lack won the Stihl String Trimmer from Four Seasons Small Engine in Escanaba.
