Negaunee, MI – July 22, 2016 – It was a great day to be outdoors, so we were in Gwinn, Marquette AND Negaunee for Honor Credit Union’s annual customer appreciation picnics! Sunny.FM was blasting music all day and radio talent Walt Lindala from the Sunny Morning Show on the mic at the Negaunee location!
Throughout the afternoon, Honor was giving away great prizes as well a FREE lunch to any one who dropped by! Anyone who stopped by before 4 PM for lunch could also pick up some free Ray-Ban style Honor Sunglasses to show off his or her Honor Credit Union pride. Our sister station Sunny.FM was on site running music all day in Negaunee to keep the day moving and everyone pumped up!
Todd Noordyk and Walt from the Sunny Morning show were around until about 1:30 PM so lunch goers had a chance to meet Major Discount and one of Sunny.FM’s best radio voices!
Honor also had a major announcement to make today. After a month of fundraising for the Honor Flight Program to help send veterans to Washington D.C., the community contributed several donations, including an anonymous $2,300 donation from Houghton, with Honor Credit Union matching every penny! Everybody who donates to the Honor Flight at Honor Credit Union locations will be entered to win a $500 grill package with the drawing taking place on August 1st.
