
Marquette, MI – 10/20/17 – Marquette County Youth Football Commissioner Pat Kaski stopped by this morning to talk about last weeks Superior Dome event for the program. The program held an all day games event at the Dome with free admission and great food at the concessions. This week will be the last week of football games at Marquette Senior High School starting in the morning on Saturday. The players in the program are required to turn their jerseys in on Saturday at the NMU football game which will give them free admission to the game. Pete Kolbus stopped by this morning to talk about the big football game tonight taking place at Marquette Senior High School. The Redmen come in at 4-4 on the year with playoff hopes still alive, they win, they get in. The opponent will be the Menominee Maroons a team that is number three in the GNC and come in with a record of 5-3. Join the Tailgate at 5:30 pm then the pregame at 6:30 pm and game-time is at 7:00 pm.
Michigan Man Ray also stopped by for our weekly Michigan Wolverine Football update. The Wolverines beat the Indiana Hoosiers in overtime last week 27-20 and look to pick up another with this week against a tough team, the Penn State Nitty Lions. Penn State comes in undefeated and is ranked number two in the country, the game will be in Happy Valley under the lights. Ray went over the keys to the game and his prediction.
