Marquette, MI – 10/25/17 – The World Series kicked off last night between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Houston Astros. The game started with a lead-off home-run from Dodger Chris Taylor off of Dallas Keuchel. Dodgers Justin Turner hit a two run homer to make it 3-1, Astros Alex Bregman hit a home-run for the only run of the night. Game two will be tonight when Justin Verlander toes the rubber for Houston going up against Dodger Rich Hill.

The Detroit Red Wings fell last night to the Buffalo Sabres 1-0 for their 5th straight loss. Sabres were led on the night by their lone goal scorer Benoit Pouliot. Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner stopped 32 shots in his shutout. The Red Wings will return to action on Thursday in Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning.
