Pistons Lose Again, Redettes Win Championship and Redmen Hockey

Marquette, MI – The Detroit Pistons once again continue to struggle. The Pistons took on the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night and lost 119-94. Bucks Jabari Parker dropped 31 points while Giannas Antetokuompo added 23 points and 8 assists to lead the Bucks to victory. The lone standout for the Pistons was Tobias Harris who had 23 points and added 12 rebounds. The Pistons fall to 15-19 on the season and travel to Atlanta to take on the Hawks Friday night at 7:30.

The Marquette Redette Basketball Team played in the 2nd Annual Redette Shootout Championship on Wednesday afternoon taking on Petoskey in the Championship game. The Redettes came out on top winning 55-36. Redette Claudia Hale dropped 17 points and earned tournament MVP. Amber Huebner added 10 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to add for Marquette. The Redettes now wait until January 3rd when they take on the Gwinn Modeltowners.

The Marquette Redmen hockey team will be at home tonight taking on the Sault Ste. Marie Blue Devils. The Redmen are coming off a win against the Kingsford Flivvers 4-2. The Redmen have changed their starting line up and defensive parings as of late. The Redmen and the Blue Devils face off at 7 pm.
