Marquette Redette Basketball, Red Wings Lose and Pistons take on Bucks

Marquette, MI – The Marquette Redettes Basketball Team is hosting their 2nd Annual Redette’s Tournament. The Redette’s took on Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday night coming out with a victory 56-36. The Redette’s will move on to the championship game Wednesday afternoon as they take on Petoskey High School. Head Coach of the Redette’s Ben Smith stopped in to talk about his team and national sports.

The Detroit Red Wings out played the Buffalo Sabres last night only to come up short and lose 4-3. The Red Wings put the puck on net 42 times in the loss and the Sabres skated out of the Joe Louis Arena with another two points to add to their record. The Red Wings are now at .500 on the season and will travel to Ottawa next to take on the Senators Thursday night at 7:30.

The Detroit Pistons will continue tonight as they are getting ready to take on the Milwaukee Bucks. The Pistons won the first matchup 98-83 in October behind a solid performance by Andre Drummond who had 23 points and 20 rebounds. The Pistons come into the game at 15-18 on the season while the Bucks come in at 14-15. Game time is at 7:30.
