Pistons Lose Again, Packers Control Destiny and Lions Can Clinch
- Updated: December 22, 2016
Marquette, MI – The Detroit Pistons faltered once again, this time losing to the Memphis Grizzlies 98-86. Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy had planned to change the starting line up by Jon Leuer missed shoot around due to a car incident. The Pistons were led by Leuer who had 18 points while Reggie Jackson added 18. Pistons center Andre Drummond had another double-double scoring 13 points and adding 19 rebounds. The Pistons are back at home on Friday when they host the NBA’s best team in the league the Golden State Warriors.
The Green Bay Packers have a big game on Saturday as they host the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers are currently second in the NFC North and if they win and the Lions lose the final game of the year will be a battle for the Division and possibly the last playoff spot. The Packers game begins at 1 pm Saturday.
The Detroit Lions head to Dallas Monday night as the Lions playoff hopes will be on the line. The Lions are currently number one in the NFC North and looking to become the Division winner this year for the first time in 23 years. However a loss would make week 17 very interesting. The Lions and Cowboys play at 8:25 pm Monday Night.
