Ann Arbor, MI – Good Morning from downstate!  Another great morning show live from the lobby of the Sheridan hotel in the lower peninsula as the Redmen Hockey team is competing in the Chelsea tournament.  John and Ryan continue their travel log, talking Olive Garden Alfredo sauce, endless lasagna and the addictive salad and bread stick combo.
JR and Friends Guest Travis Cameron
Travis Cameron “TC” talks Goalies!

Ron Gray MSHS assistant coach was guest number one and even after a late night of guitar, singing, and fun, Ron was sharp and ready to talk hockey.  Ryan asked Ron if he could name the number one strength of the team this year.

Ron, without hesitation pretty much summed up our Redmen “We’re a young team as everyone knows… sometimes apprehensive, but the one thing they have is they are a gritty team, they fight… they’re not quitters, this is not a quitting team!”.

The team is looking forward to tonight’s match up, as Marquette competes on Chelsea’s home ice, pregame action underway at 7:30pm.

Travis Cameron “TC” joined the show as well. TC, a MSHS grad and previous player on the team turned Redmen goalie coach.  Travis talked Goalie techniques, his best save – “The backdoor windmill blind grab” and strategies for Marquette’s current goalies.

Join John and Ryan tonight for the Marquette Senior High School Redmen Hockey game vs Chelsea High School Bulldogs, puck drops at 8pm.
