Falcons Win, Negaunee Football and Cubs

Marquette, MI – Falcons Matt Ryan threw for 344 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Atlanta Falcons to another win and sit atop the NFC South beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 43-28. Falcons receiver Julio Jones had eight receptions for 111 yards and the Falcons offense was no match for the Tampa Bay defense. The Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston was the lone offensive standout with 261 yards passing and three touchdowns.
Negaunee High School Athletic Director Andrew Brunette stopped in this morning to talk Negaunee Miner football and their big second round playoff football game this evening. The Negaunee Miners (10-0) will be host to the Calumet Copper Kings (9-1) at 7 pm. Negaunee defeated Calumet in week 2 of their season 14-6 in Calumet.
