Cano Wins MVP, Mayweather Fights McGregor And The Rough Life As A Lions Fan

Calvin Johnson

Marquette, MI – Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano hit a home run in the tenth inning to lead the AL All-Stars over the NL All-Stars 2-1 in Miami. Cano earned MVP with the game winning home run. The A’s first six hits of the baseball game were all by All-Stars making their first appearance in the game. The AL has won 12 of the last 15 games and 17 of the last 20 meetings.

The Connor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather fight is on for August 26th, 2017 in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena. The pay-per-view match will be aired on Showtime and is expected to exceed over the one hundred million dollar amount. Mayweather is the boxing champion and McGregor is the UFC champion.

The Detroit Lions are now the only team in NFL history to have two superstars retire while in their prime. Barry Sanders retired after 10 years of lions football at the age of 30. Calvin Johnson is the most recent NFL superstar to turn his back on the Lions. The former wide receiver was in Italy this past week talking about his time as a Lion and why he retired. Today on the show the talk was all about the Lions troubles.
