Marquette, MI – The Cleveland Indians ran onto the Comerica Park soil to celebrate their first division title since 2007, their concerns of injuries became an after thought. Cleveland clinched the division championship Monday night with a 7-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers. Detroit’s Buck Farmer allowed four runs in five innings, falling two games behind the Baltimore Orioles for the second AL wild card spot. The Detroit Tigers send Justin Verlander (15-8) to the mound tonight and the Indians will counter with Mike Clevinger (2-2). The game at Comerica Park tonight begins at 7:05pm.

The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons came together Monday night for a huge display of unity, joining hands in a formulated circle on the field following the national anthem. New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees put up his usual statistics with 376 offensive yards and three touchdowns. The Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and the offense did not give up a turnover and proved to be too much for the Saints defense. The Falcons moved into sole possession of first place in the NFC South, winning the game 45-32.
