Marquette, MI – January 16, 2024 – The Marquette hockey team hosted Negaunee at Lakeview Arena on Tuesday evening, and though the rivalry is always entertaining, it was a one-sided contest that ended with 1:52 left in the third period in an 8-0 mercy rule win for Marquette. Caleb Beerman opened the scoring early in the opening period, and before the end of the game Seth Sandstrom, Nash Riipi, Brody Sheldon, Lucas Belkowski, Connor Stade, Tony DeMattia, and Caleb Fries all added their names to the scoresheet for Marquette.
