Traverse City, Michigan – December 13th, 2019 – Marquette Redettes defeated the Traverse City Central Trojans 44-38 Friday night. After their defeat, they’re on a three game winning streak.
First quarter was a slow start off offensive for both teams. Marquette had 5 different players scored for a 10 to 9 lead over Traverse City Central. Traverse City Central Trojans had 3 players that scored in the first quarter.
Second quarter started very sloppy with turnovers for both teams. Redettes and Trojans were going back and forth with scores. Marquette had a very good defense against Traverse City–only had a 2 team foul. The half time score the Redettes were tied up with the Trojans 21-21 during the Big Game of the Week on 103-FXD.
Marquette Redettes lead 31 to 28 over Traverse City Central Trojans in the third quarter. It was a very close game with no one pulling away with the game. Heading down to the wire and the scoreboard read 31-28 from Traverse City.
