Marquette, MI – August 15, 2018 – There has been a lot of high school football talk on the Sports Drive lately with the first games looming one week from Friday. But today on the Sports Drive, volleyball got a little bit of the spotlight.
Negaunee Miners head volleyball coach, Sarah MacDonald, joined the Sports Drive to talk about her Miners program. The Miners scrimmaged Marquette last night and have a tournament in Kingsford this weekend. This is also the first year the Miners have a freshman volleyball team.
The Sports Drive did talk some high school football on the show today. With the season starting a little over a week away, the dark cloud looming are the non-renewal of the Marquette-Negaunee and Kingsford-Iron Mountain rivalries. Mark makes a bold prediction for the return of these rivalries.
