The Detroit Pistons got a big win on Monday night with strong play from Andre Drummons who dropped 26 points and 22 rebounds as the Pistons defeated the Boston Celtics, the number one team in the Eastern Conference 118-108. Detroit’s Tobias Harris added 31 points while Reggie Jackson added 20 points and seven rebounds. The Pistons are now 13-6 on the season, second in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics were led by Marcus Smart who had 23 points followed by newcomer Kyrie Irving who added 18. The Pistons return to action on Wednesday as they face Phoenix.
The Detroit Red Wings haven’t had the best of starts this year as they are currently on the second longest losing streak in the season at four games. The worst was earlier in the year when they had lost six straight games. The Red Wings look to break out of the slump tonight as they take on the Los Angeles Kings, a team that won last night in Anaheim 2-1 in a shootout. The Kings are currently 2-6-1 in their past nine games. Game-time is set for 7:30 pm at Little Caesars Arena.
