Marquette, MI – The Marquette Senior High School football team is full of bright, young, talented student athletes. Coach Dave L’Huillier stopped by to talk about last Fridays game against Traverse City St.Francis and the upcoming game with Traverse City Central.
Last Friday the Redmen season kicked off in the Superior Dome as the Redmen took on the Gladiators of Traverse City St.Francis. The game was close in the first half but the second half was a different story. The Redmen fell to the Gladiators 40-14 in the opening game. Head Coach Dave L’Huiller’s team showed great defensive and offensive plays throughout the game. We had Jackson Ostrowsky and Wyatt Goodwin in the booth talking about what its like to play for the Redmen and what they’ve learned this year.
Thursday the Marquette Redmen travel to Traverse City to take on the Traverse City Central Trojans in a matchup that begins at 7pm. The Trojans won their opening game 41-0 over Bay City Western and are looking forward to the matchup with the Redmen. The game will be on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.1 as well as being named Big Game of the Week, you can also catch it on 103FXD.
