Chelsea, MI– January 31, 2020– Marquette Redmen Hockey prevail at the end game with late goal to defeat Macomb Dakota Cougars 5-4 today on Fox Sports 105.1-99.9.
Marquette Redmen started slow by giving up goal in the first minute of the first period. Then Marquette Redmen Cole Ranta tied the game with goal. Dylan Baldwin from Marquette Redmen scores a power play goal to take a 2-1 lead over Macomb Dakota Cougars. Marquette Redmen had 10 shots on goal compare to 5 for Macomb Dakota Cougars at the end of the 1st period of actions.
Macomb Dakota Cougars started fast again with a power play goal to tie the game at 2. Dylan Baldwin of Marquette Redmen got his 2nd goal of the night to take a 3-2 lead over Macomb Dakota Cougars. Marquette Redmen scores a short handed goal to take a 4-2 lead over the Cougars. Redmen had 13 shots on goal in the 2nd period while Cougars had 5 shot on goals. Marquette Redmen will be starting the 3rd period short handed from 5 minute penalty.
Once again Macomb Dakota Cougars scores first in the period to cut into the lead 4-3 Marquette Redmen. Cougars scores 2nd goal of the 3rd period of actions to tie the game at 4-4. Evan Kroll scores late goal for the win 5-4 over Macomb Dakota Cougars. Marquette Redmen had 32 shot on goal compare to 19 for Macomb Dakota Cougars.
Marquette Redmen Hockey will be playing West Ottawa Panthers at 10AM Saturday February 01, 2020 on Fox Sports 105.1-99.9.
