Friday Night Marquette Redmen Basketball – Marquette Redmen (58) VS Menominee Maroons (33) on Fox Sports Marquette 1/13/2017

Marquette, Michigan – January 13th, 2017 – The Marquette Redmen started on offense for the first possession of the night. The Redmen battled the Menominee Maroons at Marquette Senior High School with a big win! They defeated the Maroons 58-33 on Fox Sports Marquette. Alex Duvall had 4 points and the score was 10-6 in the first quarter with the Redmen in the lead over the Maroons. It was an early advantage for the Redmen.

The Redmen and Maroons were tied up 15-15 with a minute left in the first quarter. The Redmen score and come out on top 17-15 at the end of the first quarter on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9.

The ball was rebounded by the Maroons of Menominee in the second quarter of action. Ian Ogea from downtown lifted the score for the Marquette Redmen! The score was 24-15 with the Redmen in the lead over the Menominee Maroons. Jacob Ogea said “A lot happening very quickly here in Marquette!” With 4 minutes to go in the second quarter a 13 point lead for the Redmen. 30-17 was the score with a few minutes left in the second quarter from Marquette Senior High School. The second quarter comes to a close with the Redmen in the lead over the Maroons of Menominee 33-18.

Marquette normally doesn’t like to call many time outs. It was a 20 point game for the Redmen. Third quarter action the score was 38-18 Redmen over the Maroons. The Redmen were in control of this game from home. With 90 seconds left in the third quarter the Redmen were in the lead 43-2o over the Menominee Maroons. 45-21 was the score with the Redmen in the lead going into the fourth quarter.

53-28 was the score in the fourth quarter. A 30 point lead for the Marquette Redmen over the Menominee Maroons 58-28. The clock ran down the final time-out for the Redmen. Jackson had a piece of the rebound taken over by Anderson of the Marquette Redmen.

The final score – The Marquette Redmen defeat the Menominee Maroons 58-33 on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9!
