Sault Ste Marie, MI – September 27, 2024 – The Marquette Sentinels bounced back from their loss to Lowell by cruising to a 49-0 victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Blue Devils on Friday night. The game started with a bang as Kyler Sager returned the opening kickoff 79 yards for a touchdown, setting the tone early. Quarterback Ford Richardson contributed two rushing touchdowns and a 39-yard passing touchdown to Jacob MacPhee. On the ground, Drew Bradley added 56 rushing yards and a touchdown, helping the Sentinels dominate offensively. Marquette’s defense was equally impressive, forcing two interceptions, including a pick-six by Bodi Bennet, while holding the Blue Devils to just 130 total yards.
