Marquette, MI – August 29, 2024 – The Marquette Sentinels started the 2024 football season strong on Thursday evening, trouncing Gladstone 55-0 at Hart Stadium. Marquette, a team returning several talented players from last year in addition to their newcomers, had no problem with the Braves’ defense with quarterback Ford Richardson recording over 100 yards in the air, over 100 yards on the ground, and three all-purpose touchdowns.
Marquette will be back in action on Friday, September 6th, when they travel below the bridge to meet the Alpena Wildcats. The game will kick off at 7:00 PM, and Michael Williams will have the broadcast on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9 as well as online at foxsportsmarquette.com.
