Petoskey, MI – October 11, 2024– The Marquette Sentinels football team suffered their first Big North Conference loss on Friday at the hands of the Petoskey Northmen, falling in a tight contest 28-23. The game, which was a de facto conference championship game as the two teams were tied at the top and undefeated in the Big North, went down to the wire, but Petoskey was able to eke out a close win over the Sentinels.
Marquette returns home on Saturday when they wrap up their home schedule with a game against Cadillac. The game will kick off at 6:00, and Michael Williams will have all the action on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 & 99.9 and online at foxsportsmarquette.com.
