Marquette, MI – The Detroit Tigers had they won on Wednesday would be up one game on the Baltimore Orioles for the last Wild Card spot. However, the Chicago White Sox offense came alive in the 8th inning producing four runs to take a 7-4 lead in the game. The ninth inning came and the Tigers put two men on before the White Sox put the game away to seal the victory. A big weekend series is ahead for the Tigers as they welcome in the Baltimore Orioles in a race for the final wild card spot. The Tigers will send Michael Fulmer to the mound against Baltimore’s Kevin Gausman. The game will begin at 7:05 as the Tigers look to gain ground in the Wild Card Playoff race.
The NFL season is upon us as the Super Bowl Champions the Denver Broncos open up in a rematch with the Carolina Panthers. The opening game will kick off at 8:30pm and can be seen on ABC. The Denver Broncos have a lot of questions to answer while bringing in a new quarterback in the retiring of Peyton Manning. The Panthers defense and offense is solid and their quarterback Cam Newtom will lead them into the 2016-2017 season.
