Marquette, MI – September 18, 2018 – Marquette Senior High School Athletic Director stopped into the Sports Drive still pumped up after the Redmen football team got a walkoff 36-35 victory over Escanaba Friday night. This vaulted the hype into Homecoming week where the Redmen will host Petoskey this Friday. Alex gives us the rundown on all the events happening this week.
Walt Lindala, Great lakes Radio News Director and Packers fan, joined Luke on the show to talk what its like to watch the Packers and Vikings tie. He informs us he was at the game the last time the Packers and Vikings tied, and that he’s not too happy with the new NFL rule which cost Green Bay the win.
The latest UPSSA football polls were released today. Escanaba is number 2 while Marquette is number 3, and Luke is none too pleased about it after Marquette just beat the Eskymos head to head.
