Marquette, MI – August 20, 2019 – The Superiorland Baseball League wrapped up year number 3 on Sunday. And in all 3 years the results have been the same. The Marquette County Mavericks defeated the Channing Railroaders for the league title. The Mavs got a 3-1 victory over Channing on Sunday to claim the league title in all 3 of the league’s years. Catcher for the Mavs, and MSHS head baseball coach, Spencer Larson joined the Sports Drive to talk about winning the league once again.
Fall Sports have events getting underway this week all over the Upper Peninsula and it is no different over at Marquette Senior High School. MSHS AD Alex Tiseo joined the Sports Drive for his weekly “Tiseo Tuesday” segment to run down all the happenings for the Redmen and Redettes.
