Marquette, MI – June 11, 2018 – The Detroit Pistons have finally made a hire at head coach. The Pistons and reigning NBA Coach of the Year Dwane Casey have reportedly agreed to a five-year deal to put Casey at the helm of the Pistons. The Toronto Raptors won 59 games under Casey this past year and have won 50+ games each of the last 3 years under Casey.
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night to capture their 3rd championship in 4 years. It was a deflated effort from the Cavs while the Warriors took full advantage. Steph Curry scored 37 points in the closeout game but it was Kevin Durant who captured his 2nd NBA Finals MVP in as many seasons.
