Marquette, MI – March 20, 2023 – The Northern Michigan Wildcats were just over two minutes away from pulling off an unthinkable run to a CCHA Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. However, things unraveled for the Wildcats in a hurry, as Minnesota State scored two late goals to send the game to OT, before scoring the game winner just over a minute in. NMU’s season comes to an end, extending their streak of not making the NCAA tournament to 13 years.
