Marquette, MI – November 27, 2018 – Northern Michigan University hockey was originally scheduled to have a bye week this week. Then Notre Dame called and the defending National Runners-Up invited the Wildcats down for a Tuesday game. Ryan Stieg of the Mining Journal joined the Sports Drive to talk Wildcats hockey up to this point and preview the game against the Fighting Irish.
It’s Tuesday, which means Marquette Senior High School Athletic Director Alex Tiseo updated us on winter sports at MSHS in his weekly “Tiseo Tuesday” segment. The Redmen hockey team travels to Escanaba tonight to take on the Eskymos while the Boys Basketball team is on the road to the Petoskey Invitational this weekend.
Bryce Derouin was formerly a Sports Editor with the Mining Gazette, but recently left to start a new project. That project is Theupbeatsports.com which is devoted to covering Upper Peninsula sports in a way that has never been done before. Bryce joined Luke to talk about the site and preview the U.P. boys basketball season.
