Marquette, MI – February 17, 2022 – It is going to be a very special night in Marquette with not only a couple of major rivalry battles for the Marquette Redmen boys basketball teams and Marquette Redmen hockey teams. But both games will also feature a very special guest. Iron River native, and 2022 Beijing Olympics Gold Medal winner, Nick Baumgartner will be honored at both contests. Baumgartner will drop the ceremonial first puck at the hockey game, and then will head to Barb Crill Gymnasium to be honored at halftime of the boys basketball game.
