Marquette, MI – June 13, 2023 – The Island Resort Championship returns to Sweetgrass next weekend as a stop on the Epson Tour. Each year the Island Resort Championship grants two “exemptions” to players not on the Epson Tour to compete in the tournament. One of those exemptions this year is Kate Brody, who earned Michigan’s “Miss Golf” honors this year as the top girls high school golfer in the state. Brody joined The Sports Drive today to talk about her career and exemption to Sweetgrass next weekend.
