They host Lake Superior State at the Berry Events Center tonight in the quarterfinal round. NMU head coach Matt Majkrzak joined The Sports Drive today to talk about his team’s run, and one of the best individual performances he’s ever seen.
Like the NMU men’s basketball team, the Ishpeming Hematites girls basketball team is playing their best basketball of the season down the home stretch. The Hematites have won 9 of their last 11, and look to continue their season tonight as they host Hancock in the district semifinal.
