Negaunee, MI – September 6, 2019 – It’s week two of the high school football season, and with two local teams celebrating home openers tonight, the guys took the show on the road on Friday afternoon. Luke and Mark went on the air live from Smarty’s Saloon in Negaunee to catch all the excitement surrounding the Negaunee Miners’ first home game of the year.
Luke and Mark were joined at Smarty’s by Gregg Nelson, and Tyler Young chimed in from back in the studio from time to time as well. Topics of discussion were varied, from Negaunee’s football game against Calumet to the dwindling attendances that high school football has seen in recent years to the pre-game and post-game traditions of high school sportscasters.
