Marquette, MI – January 2, 2019 – The Sports Drive returned with the first show of the new year. Doug Garrow and Tyler Young both stopped by the studio to chat Marquette Hockey and Ishpeming basketball.
The last time Doug Garrow was on the Sports Drive, his team had just lost to hancock in overtime. His team’s overall record was 2-3-1. Doug said on the show his team needed to get back to fundamentals and needed to want to get better each day in order to be successful. Since that time, the Redmen have rattled off 5 straight victories. Today Doug talked to Luke and Mark about how his team has improved.
The Ishpeming Hematites are back in action tonight after their last game was a big vistory against Kingsford back on December 18th. The Hematites will take on a 1-7 Hancock team, and voice of the Hematites Tyler Young will be there to bring you the action on 98.3 WRUP. He also stopped by the studio to chat about both the boys and girls Hematites hoops teams.
