Marquette, MI – October 1, 2018 – The injury bug is almost guaranteed to bite at least one football team every year. So far, that team has been the Gwinn Modeltowners. Gwinn lost more than one key player in their loss to Houghton, and now the Modeltowners have lost 2 straight games after a 4-0 start. Head Coach of the Modeltowners, Dion Brown, joined the Sports Drive today to talk about getting guys healthy and playing with a chip on their shoulder as they chase a playoff bid.
Michigan High School Sports currently has a big big problem, that is on the verge of being catastrophic. There is a shortage in game officials, and it isn’t getting better. Luke and Mark had Geoff Kimmerly of the MHSAA join the Sports Drive to let us know the reasoning behind the shortage, why we need officials, and how to become an official.
