Marquette, MI – April 25, 2018 – The NMU Women’s Golf Team had a fantastic showing at the GLIAC Championships in Ohio this past weekend. The Wildcats finished 2nd overall and placed 3 golfers in the Top 5. Head Coach Bob Bastian and golfer Haley Hewer stopped by to talk about their weekend and look ahead to the NCAA Division II Super Regionals.
The Sports Drive continued its NFC North Draft Preview. Max Demars who covers the Detroit Lions for 247 Sports joined the show to discuss what Lions fans can expect this weekend. The Lions seem to be on the cusp of turning the corner, and this weekend could prove huge for their franchise.
The Commission on College Basketball recently submitted a recommendation to the NCAA on how to clean up college basketball amidst a season full of national scandals. The recommendations include the end to the one-and-done rule, potential lifetime bans for coaches, and allowing college athletes to sign with agents. Luke and Mark talk potential ramifications on all accounts.
