Marquette, MI – December 27, 2018 – Luke and Mark returned from the holiday to bring you your local sports news, NFL picks, and more. But with only three shows left (now 2) in 2018, the Sports Drive is bringing you some of the best interviews 2018 had to offer in the second hour.
In April, Luke and Mark reached out to Seth Merrill. Seth is the Corporate Marketing Manager for the Wisconsin Timberrattlers. When Luke and Mark first talked to Seth, it was ahead of the T-Rats first ever “Yooper Day” promotion. While Seth has been on many times since, the first will always hold a special place in the Sports Drive’s heart.
In the week leading up to the start of high school football training camps, the Sports drive conducted a multi-part, week long series focusing on high school football and concussions. Jeff Olson came into the studio on August 1st and provided a great conversation on football, concussions, and life.
During the first week of high school football training camps, Mark caught up with Negaunee Miners head coach Paul Jacobson. In the quick interview, Jacobson delivered what may be Sports Drive quote of the year.
