Marquette, MI – October 29, 2018 – The battle for the Miners Cup on Saturday between Michigan tech and Northern Michigan was one for the ages. Northern got up 14-0 early on Tech, but as Tech came roaring back and it went back and forth in the 2nd half, it was again Special teams that came back to bite Northern. The Wildcats botched an extra point, and was forced to go for a 2-point conversion late to try and tie the game, but came up just short. Tech has not lost this game since 2009.
