Marquette, MI – October 17, 2018 – The Sports Drive returned after a one day hiatus where Luke was an old man sitting on a heating pad all day to try and get his back better. Alex Tiseo joined the Sports Drive for his weekly segment to talk Marquette Senior High School Athletics. The football team is looking to make history, the volleyball team had a good showing at the GNC Tournament, and Marquette soccer hosted a successful end-of-the-year tournament this past Saturday.
Speaking of the football team looking to make history: Marquette has a chance to win the Great Northern Conference outright for the first time since 1976. The Redmen clinched a share with Friday night’s win over Gladstone for the first time since 2011. Dave L’Huillier, coach of the Redmen, joined the Sports Drive to dicsuss the win vs Gladstone and how much his team is playing for this Friday.
