Marquette, MI – There is good news and then there is bad news. Ryan Lochte is in a world of hurt right now after the suspected armed robbery in Rio during the Olympic games. The story Lochte gave was nothing but an exaggeration of the story and sadly a lie to the American people. On Monday Lochte was informed that his endorsements were letting him go. The Olympic committee is looking to donate to local charities in Rio after the men’s swim team situation.
The Detroit Tigers begin a four game series tonight against the Minnesota Twins. Game time is at 8:10 when Anibal Sanchez takes the mound against Kyle Gibson. The Tigers are 7.5 back in the Central and 3 games behind for the last Wild Card spot.
Blaise Zimmer stopped in the give us an up date on Marquette Senior High School. Blaise went over the “Redmen and Redettes night” and what to expect from the 2016 fall sport teams and coaches. We also had some fun with Blaise by testing his Detroit Tigers knowledge with some trivia questions. Blaise and Marquette is looking forward to Fridays opening football game against the Gladiators of Traverse City St.Francis, game time is at 7pm.
