Detroit, MI – Marquette Redmen Hockey in Detroit for the annual Chelsea showcase this weekend. The Chelsea allows 52 teams from all over the state to compete in a 3 day tournament. MSHS Hockey coach Doug Garrow joined us to chat about the upcoming tournament and what the Redmen need to do to secure victories this weekend. All three teams: Saline, Chelsea, East Grand Rapids are new to the Redmen. Coaches and players alike are excited for the matches, and plan to come away with 3 wins this weekend.
John and Ryan joined the team for a Redwings hockey game Wednesday night at The Joe as the Redwings fell to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Larry Carey Assistant Redmen Hockey Coach joined us for the first time on Fox Sports Marquette. We talked Chicago baseball and his time coaching hockey along side Doug Garrow. Join us this afternoon at 2pm for game one of the Chelsea tournament, the Marquette Redmen take on the Saline Hornets here on Fox Sports Marquette.
