Marquette, MI – 10/12/17 – The Northern Michigan Wildcat Hockey Team will be on the road this weekend in Big Rapids as they take on the Ferris State Bulldogs. The Wildcats are currently 1-1 on the season after the series with the Lake Superior State Lakers last weekend. The Northern Michigan football team will be away once again this week as they head down to take on Tiffin University. The Wildcat are in their first year under new head coach Kyle Nystrom and are currently 1-4 on the season.
UP Health System’s Mark Stonerock stopped in this morning to talk about Major League Baseball postseason. Mark is an avid baseball fan and is rooting for former Tigers in this years playoffs. We went over the games yesterday with Cleveland losing to the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs falling to the Washington Nationals to force a game 5. You can catch Mark in and around Marquette at many sporting events taking care of our athletes.
Bill Tibor the Silver Badger came in this morning with his NFL picks of the week. Last week the Silver Badger was 6-8. The current standings are tied with Ryan and Bill at the top with a record of 48-29 while Luke is in third with a record of 43-34.
