Marquette, MI – October 28th, 2025 – Negaunee Miners were able to secure the final spot in Division Five, Region One. This comes after the Miners took down Iron Mountain 44-7. Negaunee will be on the road to start their playoff journey when they head to Ogemaw Heights. The Miners have outscored their last two opponents 86 -13 and will need another big-time performance to take down the Falcons, who will enter with an 8-1 record. Kickoff is set for Friday at 7:00 p.m., and we will have the broadcast on Sunny 101.9.
The Marquette Sentinels will be joining the Miners in the postseason after picking up a big win against Kingsford (21-13) to sneak into the playoffs. Marquette will be heading back down to Gaylord, hoping to get their revenge after losing 28-27 on a missed two-point conversion. The Sentinels have strung together three wins in a row. Gaylord will enter will a perfect 9-0 record. Kickoff is set for Friday at 7:00 p.m., and the broadcast will be on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9 with Mitchell Hammond.
