Marquette, MI – The Detroit Pistons have 20 games remaining on their schedule and look to improve their record in the standings to secure a higher playoff seed. The Pistons won against Philadelphia over the weekend 136-106 in their biggest margin of victory since 2008. The Pistons will take on a division opponent tonight the Chicago Bulls who currently hold the 7th seed, the Pistons in the 8th. If the Pistons win they will be in the 7th seed, lots of big games ahead for the Pistons. Tip-off will be at 7:30 pm at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Northern Michigan Wildcat hockey team saw their season come to an end on Sunday as they lost to Bemidji State 3-1 and the series two games to one. The Wildcats second half push of their season made the playoffs possible, but fell short of moving on. Bemidji will move in the the WCHA playoffs and the Wildcats will gear up for an off-season that could feature many moves. Many updates from Northern Michigan ahead in JR and Friends.
The Marquette Redettes basketball team are headed to Gaylord tomorrow morning after defeating Traverse City Central in the district final on Friday 47-40. The Redettes now move on the Regional as they get set to take on Midland Dow a team that is coming in at 20-2 on the season. The Redettes are 20-3 on the season and look to move on to play in Mt.Pleasant on Thursday. Game-time tomorrow will be at 6 pm, you can catch all the action on Fox Sports Marquette.
