Redmen Round-Up with Marquette Broadcasting Student and Varsity Football
- Updated: September 21, 2016
Marquette, MI – If you have a dream, go for it! I’d like to tie what we talked about with Tyler Young into many other people’s life’s. Tyler’s dream is to become a play by play broadcaster in the sports world, anything you put your mind to, you can achieve. I worked my tail end off to accomplish my goals and become a sports broadcaster, I’ve worked for Greater Media Detroit and Fox Sports Detroit only to one day have a chance to talk sports for the rest of my life. Tyler Young wants exactly the same dream, go for everything and anything you want to in life because you only get one shot. I’d like to thank Eric Hammerstrom for allowing us to talk with his student and bring us up to date on the student broadcasting program.
We had Head Coach Dave L’Huillier and running back Drew Gale in with us this evening talking Marquette football and their up coming game this Friday in Gladstone. The
Redmen are coming off a week four loss to the Escanaba Eskymos in which the score was not indicative of the outcome. With less than 6 minutes left in the game the score was 6-3 and ended up being 20-3. The Redmen have played very well for a young team. They go into this game against Gladstone with their heads held high and look to come out with a victory. Coach went over how great practice has been all week and what he expects his team to accomplish on Friday. Drew Gale also went over what the team has worked on and what he’s improved on as a player.
Join Redmen Round-Up every Wednesday at 6pm as Ryan Ranguette and John Thomsen bring us up to date on all the local games and events going on with Marquette Senior High School. Tune into Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9 every Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm.
