Marquette Redmen Hockey And Redettes Basketball

 Marquette, MI – 1/24/18 – The Marquette Redmen Hockey team faced off in a tough battle for supremacy rights against Flint Powers Catholic. The Redmen were coming off of a dominating victory last Tuesday night against Escanaba and were hoping to keep things hot against a very good Flint squad, who before last Friday had only lost one game this season. Marquette would grind their way to a 5-3 victory. The game was live streamed as always on Fox Sports Marquette.

Marquette fell to Traverse City West the following day 2-1. The Redmen are now 10-7 on the year and will face a team they lost 2-1 too back on January 8th, the Kingsford Flivvers. The game will begin at 7 pm with the pre-game beginning at 6:30 pm with John Thomsen and Joe Gaffney.

The Redettes, coming off of a tough 42-33 loss to the Gladstone Braves, dropped their second contest in a row against the Blue Devils. The Marquette Redettes are back on the court on tonight, when they take on the Calumet Coppor Kings.  That game will tip off at 7:15 P.M
