Marquette Redmen Cross Country and Football
- Updated: September 8, 2016
Marquette, MI – Wednesday night was a fun night to get to know the Marquette Cross Country Head Coach Dale Phillips and some of his athletes. Dale Phillips is in his 40th year of coaching cross country in Marquette. The team this year looks to be real strong especially with their juniors. Coach Phillips is also a member of the Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame as he was inducted in 2009. Their upcoming meet will be on Friday, September 8th as they will be competing in North Marquette. A big thanks to Coach Phillips and athletes for stopping by.
The Marquette Redmen also stopped by for some insight on their season and what they expect for the rest of the season. Coach Dave L’Huillier and his players stopped by to talk about their first two games and what they’re looking to build off. The Redmen are looking for their first win of the season this Friday when they take on the Blue Devils of Sault Ste Marie in the Superior Dome at 8pm. The pregame show will kick off at 7:15pm with Ryan Ranguette, John Thomsen and Pete Kolbus breaking down the lineups and the game. You can catch the game right here on Fox Sports Marquette 105.1 and 99.9 as well as on 103FXD for the Big Game of the Week.
