Marquette, MI – October 24, 2018 – The Marquette Redmen football season has come to an end, but there’s still plenty of things going on at the Marquette Senior High School athletic department. With the football team having won a share of the GNC for the first time since 2011 and the volleyball team having won the GNC outright and heading to the playoffs, there’s no shortage of excitement for MSHS athletics.
On this week’s show, Alex Tiseo, Marquette’s athletic director, talks about all the fall sports wrapping up and a potential football conference realignment coming in the next few years; Mike Morgan, the volleyball coach for the Redettes, talks about his team’s preparations for the district playoffs; and Dave L’Huillier, the football coach over at Marquette, recaps a season in which his team delivered some heart-stopping football and won a share of the GNC title for the first time since 2011.
