Marquette, MI – December 20, 2024 – The Marquette Sentinels hockey team dropped a close 2-0 game against the Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Eaglets on Friday evening at Lakeview Arena. The first period passed with no score, but Orchard Lake struck early in the second to go ahead 1-0. Marquette again held the Eaglets off the board for the remainder of the frame, but the visitors made it 2-0 with 12:31 to go in regulation, and the Sentinels were unable to score before time ran out.
