Marquette Redmen vs Calumet Copper Kings

Marquette, MI– Feburary 11, 2020– The Marquette Redmen Hockey shutout Calumet Copper Kings 4-0 on 103 FXD The Big Game of The Week.

Marquette Redmen hit the post twice in the opening period of actions. Calumet Copper Kings lead on shot on goals early in the 1st period. Redmen Evan Kroll got the 1st goal of the night that was power play goal. The second half of the 1st period Marquette Redmen got the puck moving and keep the pressure on Calumet Copper Kings. Calumet Copper Kings leads shot on goal 12-9 over Marquette Redmen.

The Marquette Redmen Dylan Baldwin scores 2nd goal of the night and 12th goal of the year. Marquette Redmen has kept the pressure on in 2nd period of actions. Copper Kings hasn’t found the back of the net though 2 periods of action. Shots on goal Marquette Redmen lead 13-7 in that period over Copper Kings.

Marquette Redmen took it first penalty of the night and held off the Calumet from scoring the on power play. Marquette Redmen scores 3rd goal in the game. Liam Beerman had beautiful save on Copper Kings break away. Jacob Peterson of Marquette Redmen scores the 4th goal of the night. Liam Beerman shut out the Calumet Copper Kings 4-0.

The Redmen Hockey will be back in action against Hancock Bulldogs on 2-18-2020 at 7 PM and the pregame is at 630 PM on 105.1-99.9 Fox Sports Marquette.
