The Reps pressed the Marquette zone with a shot on net, but the save was made by Parker Nevenhoven. Marquette was the first team to find the penalty box and gave Bay Reps a power play opportunity. The Redmen penalty kill did a good job of keeping things out of their zone as they came back to full strength.

The two teams went back and forth with no real offense or shot attempts. Marquette attempted to slow things down a bit, and pick away at the Reps defense to find their shot. The Redmen played physical to cause turnovers and give them shot opportunities. Action picked up mid way through the period with Bay Reps getting a 3-on-1 but broken up by Colin Nemacheck.

The Redmen would go to the other end and get a great shot off by Tucker Welch, but the big save was made by Aiden Reamer of the Reps. Marquette would find the net a couple of possessions later. Adam Heikkila’s shot made it past Reamer for his second goal of the year. Bay Reps did get on the board with just :15 to go in the period when Ethan Coleman was able to sneak one past Nevenhoven for a power play goal.

OT: Bay Reps won the face off and pushed the puck into the Marquette zone to start the extra minutes. The Redmen were able to get a shot off that was covered up leading to an offensive zone face off. Although there were plenty of opportunities no team would score in the final seconds.
