Negaunee, MI – November 8, 2025 – The Marquette Sentinels hockey team opened their 2025-26 campaign with an 8-0 mercy rule win over the Negaunee Miners on Saturday afternoon. Marquette, led by Skyler Blackburn’s hat-trick, scored six of their eight goals in the second period en route to a commanding victory. Marquette will return to the ice on Friday, November 14th, when they travel downstate to face the Brother Rice Warriors.
